Kol-Ukok is located 30 km from nearest town Kochkor, between two slopes of the Terskey Ala Too Mountains. It’s extremely cold and , approximately 17 meters deep. Green meadows surround the lake where you can find a plethora of wildflowers including edelweiss and forget-me-nots. These meadows are very lush and often used as pastureland by nomadic shepherds from about May to October. Discover the lake on horseback.
